Yan Yu is a doctoral student in Voice Performance at The Ohio State University, where she continues to develop her artistry as both a performer and interpreter of diverse vocal repertoire.

Her stage credits include roles in Le Nozze di Figaro, La Clemenza di Tito, Hansel and Gretel, and Ariodante, as well as featured scenes from Die Zauberflöte, L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Die Fledermaus.
A recent First Prize winner of the American Midwest Chamber and Vocal Competition, Ms. Yu has also appeared as a guest artist with the Bologna International Opera Academy and the Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center.

Passionate about promoting Chinese art songs, she is dedicated to sharing this rich musical tradition with audiences around the world.
