Teddy Wang was born in New York City and began studying the violin at the age of four. In addition to violin, he has pursued piano, demonstrating remarkable musicality from an early age. Teddy has earned second place in the Elite Music Competition for piano in 2020 and for violin in 2022. In 2022, he performed at Lincoln Center as a member of the Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra.
He serves as concertmaster of his elementary school orchestra since fourth grade and occasionally performs as a piano accompanist. Teddy studies violin with Prof. Elizabeth Faidley. Outside of music, he enjoys art, cooking, and playing soccer, reflecting his diverse interests and creative spirit.
