Charlotte Chan began her musical journey at the age of five and commenced masterclass studies with Olga Khroulevitch at age nine. Driven by a deep passion for the violin, she has rapidly developed as a performer and has earned awards in numerous regional, national, and international competitions, including the Metropolitan Music Festival, Opus Competition, New Asia International Music Competition, American Virtuoso International Music Competition, and the Young Soloist International Competition.



Charlotte regularly collaborates with the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and has served as Assistant Concertmaster for AYPO’s Prelude Strings and Prelude Violins. She has received chamber music masterclasses at the Peabody Institute and the Maryland Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, and is actively involved in chamber music, performing in ensembles at Immanuel Christian School and the Maryland Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also participated in string and orchestral programs at the Greater Washington Suzuki Institute.



In 2025, Charlotte made her solo debut with a Manhattan orchestra and performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall. She also enjoys sharing music in community settings such as churches, schools, and nursing homes. She enjoys sharing music through both solo performance and chamber music.
